Square or slightly rectangular shape with pointed corners. Lots of fire, modern look, slightly more affordable than round brilliant diamonds of the same size. Second most common choice for engagement rings.

Oval Cut

Elliptical shape with brilliant faceting. Appears larger than a round stone of the same weight and makes the finger look optically slimmer and longer. Very popular since 2018 and an absolute top trend in 2026.

Emerald Cut
