Gold Vermeil

Gold-plated sterling silver (925) with a minimum layer thickness of 2.5 microns and at least 10-karat gold. Gold Vermeil is more solid than regular gold plated and the preferred choice for sustainable, affordable luxury jewelry. Durability: 2 to 5 years with good care.

Gold Filled

Gold Filled has a gold layer 100 times thicker than regular gold plated. The layer makes up at least 5% of the jewelry piece's total weight. Gold Filled is the most durable gold-plated jewelry and can last for decades with good care. It is the most affordable among durable gold alternatives.

PVD Gold Plating (Physical Vapor Deposition)
